Care close to home

The 5K movement.

We make a personal commitment to care for neighbors who are poor or need support within our 5 km. 5K Youth brings students together to put that care into practice.

What 5K means

Notice your neighbors.
Begin nearby.

Think about the people within 5 km of where you live, study, or gather. Some may be facing poverty, isolation, or other difficult circumstances. The first step is to notice, listen, and learn what support would be useful.

With friends and a trusted advisor or youth leader, start with a practical way to help. Connect with a local community partner, take on a manageable activity, and keep showing up for your neighbors.

Care begins around the places where you live, study, and gather.
