Where we began

A beginning in Silicon Valley.

5K Youth began in Silicon Valley, California, with a desire to help young people put the NCMN 5K movement into practice in their own communities.

That local beginning grew into a vision: students in different countries learning to care for neighbors who are poor or need help within their own 5 km.

Connected & growing

Young people connecting in Nepal.

5K Youth has helped high school students in Nepal form 5K Youth groups, sharing the movement with a new community of young people.

We continue to stay in touch and support these groups as they learn to carry the movement forward in their own communities.

Ongoing communication and support help us keep learning together, while each group brings the 5K movement into its local community.
